wanted wallpapers on your beloved palm? NOW, you can do it using up
to 8 colors! The background image (wallpaper) will stay in place while
other apps are running.
On the
right is a screenshot of Datebook, with one of the default backgrounds
that comes with Backdrop EZ 1.2, the background is customizable for
you can use any graphical file saved ImageViewer format.
 In
fact Backdrop EZ 1.2 is fully customizable, let me show u how with a
couple of screenshots that I have taken off my Palm V using Tealpaint.
On the
left is the screenshot of Backdrop EZ's main menu, where we can choose
to turn the Backdrop on or off, with access to the Background, Application
and Setting options.
Backdrop
EZ reads any image in Image Viewer format, in fact there is a whole
library of background pictures available on Twilight
Edge's Sample ImageViewer Images Page.
 As
you can see from the screenshot of the background window on the left,
I only have the default background but I love the default globe. Well,
the background window will allow us to choose and set which image file
to be the backdrop.
Because
our Palm OS are still in monochrome mode, the backdrops are displayed
in levels of greyscale which might affect your usage of certain applications,
you can therefore disable the use of Backdrop EZ on this applications.
 As
for me, during my usage of Backdrop EZ, it did not hinder any of my
work. In fact, Backdrop EZ made my palm looks so cool that my friends
wants me to beam it over to them right away!
In the
settings window, we can customize the usage of Backdrop EZ and even
configure the Startup Screen to display the Backdrop as your startup
splash screen.
 Settings
such as Invert Background, Invert Backlight will help enhance the look
of your backdrop and aid visibility.In order to achieve the best result,
adjust your contrast level before changing the settings.
Packaged
along with Backdrop EZ 1.2 is TrapWeaver 1.06 which is essentially a
system utility which protects applications and hacks from conflicting
with one another so as to prevent your Palm OS from crashing.
In order
to use Backdrop EZ 1.2, engaging TrapWeaver is must, the good news for
all Palm OS 3.3 upgraders, Backdrop EZ 1.2 and TrapWeaver 1.06 are Palm
OS 3.3 compatible
Backdrop
EZ is a dream software for many palm users, just like many users whom
have tried Backdrop EZ, Backdrop EZ has added a new dazzle to Palm
Devices.
